True to its roots, this full-bodied milk stout incorporates a variety of specialty malts that accentuate the aroma and flavours of roasted coffee beans and rich dark chocolate. This recipe was a multi-award winner at the 2018 Oktobertfest in Vankleek Hill.

This highly effervescent brut bursts with flavours of citrus, mango, and passionfruit. It’s dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin to give it a gooseberry finish with white grape aromatics. 

Belgium meets the west coast with this delicious pale ale. A generous amount of “C” hops introduce flavours of pine, citrus and tropical fruit while the specialty malts balance bitterness with notes of honey and caramel. This copper coloured ale finishes with hints of banana, clove and a touch of pepper.

Black Rapids Brewing Company was established in 2019. After many years of home brewing, the milk stout recipe won two awards at the 2018 Oktoberfest home brewing competition in Vankleek Hill. With encouragement from friends and family, the co-founders decided to bring this flagship beer to the craft market.

The company is based in Manotick and gets its name from the 13th lockstation on the Rideau Canal.
